Male Arrested - Baginton - Thursday 04-DEC-2025

Dear Resident

Yesterday evening (04/12/2025) PCSO King and PCSO Owen were on patrol in Baginton, when they spotted a stationary car at a location where we've received reports about anti-social behaviour 'ASB' and suspected drug dealing.

Upon approaching the car, a single male occupant exited the car. There was a distinct smell of cannabis surrounding the car and the male presented as under the influence.

Officers from OPU Warwickshire attended to assist SNT. The male and his car were searched. The male was arrested and taken to custody for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (Class B - Cannabis) with intent to supply and driving under the influence of drugs.

Drink or drugs contribute to 14% of our fatal and serious collisions. We will continue to take positive action to protect our communities from harm.

Warwickshire Police are supporting Op Limit, the NPCC Christmas Drink & Drug Driving Operation from Monday 1st December 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2026, to catch those who offend and ultimately save as many lives as possible.
